Join us for a rich cultural experience as we explore the highlights of Osaka Castle and Hotoku Shrine.

Otemon Gate & Turret
We’ll begin with the Otemon Gate, the grand main entrance, surrounded by towering stone walls and the scenic outer moat. Learn about the gate’s role in the castle’s defense and admire the architecture and stonework that have protected the castle for centuries.

Hotoku Shrine
From the castle area, we’ll visit Hotoku Shrine, a serene sanctuary that pays homage to local heroes and deities. Here, you’ll have a few moments to offer a prayer, reflect, and capture photos of this peaceful setting.

Japanese Garden
Next, we’ll visit a nearby Japanese garden. This beautifully landscaped area, with its koi ponds, and gentle stone paths, is a perfect backdrop for photos and offers a tranquil experience amid the bustling cityscape.

Osaka Castle Keep
The tour concludes with an exploration of the Osaka Castle Keep, the heart of the castle grounds. Inside, you’ll find detailed exhibits showcasing the castle’s history, from its origins under Toyotomi Hideyoshi to its reconstruction. We’ll finish with a visit to the top floor’s observation deck for a panoramic view of Osaka—a memorable end to your tour.

With a maximum of 6 people per group, you’ll enjoy a relaxed and personal experience.

Start Location& Meeting Point
Your adventure begins at the Tanimachi 4-chome Entrance at Lawson, where your guide will greet you and introduce you to Osaka’s history before the tour starts.
